Well personally I think less is more. I like it when there's a little somthing left to the imagination. If I want to see images of people having full on sex I'll go to a pornsite. To me erotic images should be more subtle and sensual. I think the images you use work prefect for this site. I prefered the racy and racier images.

I agree 100% with you. Your writing and the writing of the other authors are well represented with the RACY images you provide. They speak well for your writing and leaves enough for the readers imagination. I can think of many images that were really hot without being too much. The image for Right There for example. I love this site and think the images you use should not change. I vote for the Racy images.

Thanks you guys. I'm sure some people are used to seeing the racier stuff on other sites but I didn't think it fit IRE. Come on, our writing is enough. But I really want to hear your opinions.

Ewwwwwww! I know I provide my own images for my stories (which explains their tame nature) but good gravy where did you find the last one?!?!
I am going to have to start monitoring your internet usage a little more closely. |

LOLOL! Stephanie, the images come from artist wanting or asking me to display their work. Some I pay for but most are comp. I turn down a great number of images trust me. That last shot is actually pretty tame for the photographer we're talking about. LAWD!!! You should see some of his work....you'll need a hot shower, eyes torn out and prayer time.

I agree. I little racy and great writing is all you need to fuel a great story.
Every one will agree, that we love this site mainly because of the stories, the pics are added bonus. If we wanted porn, we would visit porn sites. Anyone who wants the more racier pics are looking for something else altogether. I want to be stimulated not tittalated. |

Thanks Janet. You picked up on something that I've said for a while....less graphic images is a big part of what separates erotica from porn. Erotica isn't always about naked folks in the act of sex. Erotica has a softer seductive side...a real story!

I agree with everyone. You’re words take us to our special place and allow us to use our imagination. Racy and racier are tasteful images the others are a bit OTT. Your work is erotic (yep no doubt there), kinky (yes it is-there are times I feel so sorry for that innocent husband of yours lol) pornographic never. There is a broad line between kinky, erotic, and pornographic and in my opinion you’ve never came close to crossing that line. |

Thanks Judy. Don't feel sorry for Greg, feel sorry for me, lol! Greg cuts no corners. To be honest, I don't thing the last three images fit the site. I'm not a prude but the images just don't fit.
OTT? Yep, just a bit. lol |

Looking at these photos I can't say anything against any of them. Depending on the mood and what not they all work. Numbers 3 and 4 in particular. But here's the thing. IF these are meant to illustrate a piece of erotic fiction, well then, it's 1 and 2 and *maybe* a slightly less specific 3. And here's why (IMHO) I'm [coming] out against 4 and 5. Number 4 constitutes skipping ahead [ahem] in any given bit of erotica. Unless this is a story focused on endurance there may not be many paragraphs left there. As for 5, well that's like reading the last two pages in some x-rated Agatha Christie mystery where we now know the buttler has gone and buttered the chambermaid. Where's the suspense?
