I'm so sorry about the delay with my addition to the site. I've been bogged down with a few things and its left me little time to indulge in my passion--fiction writing. However, after a bit of agonizing and some feedback, I'm ready to post the first chapter to my new story, The End.

I have to say a few things about this tale before I share it with you. It sprung from a weird dream I had earlier last month. At first I thought, 'this is the one for IE!' then after looking over the site again and contemplating a bit, I realized maybe it didn't fit here. IE is romance heavy and that's great, but I've been struggling with the idea that I may not be a straight-forward romance writer.

So, although I had the first chapter written and was working on the second, I stalled out and was reluctant to post it here. Now, having said that, I thought harder about things and said to myself, that maybe I should let the readers decide.

I won't share much about where I'm going with this, but I will say that the word of the day is Irony.

Will it be IR, yes; and will it be romantic? In some aspects, yes, but my biggest hope is that either way you'll find it interesting.
