Hello everyone! I just wanted to share with you all more questions I received email from guess who. Y'all!
Question 1: Are you going to write any short stories or novels with an Asian Hero and Black Heroine? If so, when?
Answer: Yes, I’ve just completed a short story that will be a four part series. The first in the series will go up in a couple of days and the remainder will be released on a monthly bases. The Characters names are Ray & Phoebe. Their story is entitled 'Change of Plans.' Enjoy!
Question 2: What topics won’t you write about?
Answer: I won’t write ‘thug lit’, paranormal or stories that are disrespectful or play into a negative stereotypes. I won’t write ‘thug lit’ because that’s not me, it doesn’t go deep enough for me. I don’t do paranormal because I think there’s so much more I can do with real humans before I have to start screwing ghost and goblins.
This last one is the hardest because I had to turn down a friend’s story bases on this topic. I will not write a story that plays into negative stereotypes of a group or class of people. My friend is Israeli and her husband is Palestinian, they wanted their story told however either could really agree on how to tell it without trashing the others cultural and belief so I pulled the plug. Nuff said.
I do have contributors who will be writing short stories in the two genres mentioned before so keep a look out for those on the ‘shorties’ page. If you like the short then you can also preview other works from these authors. Support your local artist people…J
Question 3: Can I have your phone number?
Answer: No, movin’ on.
Question 4: You mention a lot of different countries in your writings. Have you really been to these places?
Answer: Yes. My Mom is (Black) German so we spent a great deal of time in
I’ve only had to make up one country, for legal reasons, Sarbania but all on the rest I have either been to or lived in. I’ll be posting pictures from my travels on the site as well.
I will also post the different sites to see while in these towns just in case anyone happens to be in that particular town/city.
Well that’s it for now, chat soon.
