Cutting To The Chase has received “5 cups” from Coffee Time Romance! I have to say I am beyond stoked! I felt like I was taking a huge step with this book because of some of the sensitive subjects I touch upon. But after the rave reviews from reviewers and readers I have a renewed sense of motivation. Book Review:

Ashley Bennett has been in love with her best friend since they were in school together. After many years, in which their friendship has waned, she returns to her hometown with the goal of facing her feelings in order to move on. In her new physical therapist job she has received her first patient, Christopher Morgan.

Christopher Morgan has waited patiently for the woman of his heart to finally come home. He never planned to be flat on his back when she arrived.

Christopher is dealing with his injury and the possibility of a genetic disease that may have led to the severity of his injuries. Ashley is astonished by the strength Christopher uses to get back on his feet. She is concerned that her opportunity of forever with Christopher may be cut short by his fears of the genetic disease and passing it on to a new generation.

This is an outstanding love story. The relationship between Ashley and Christopher is sizzling hot but the amazing love between the two of them is makes the story more compelling. I was fascinated by the strength of a love that spanned the years and remained strong enough despite separation. A compelling story takes the age old story of lost love and shows that one should never give up their dreams. A wonderful story well worth reading that takes a dream and puts it on paper.
