Can we talk openingly for a second? You all know I’m an avid reader, ok I picked up a book from a B&N last week and based on the cover work the book was interracial BWWM so I bought it. First of all by chapter three I was still unsure what racial characters were. I knew the heroine was Black but the Hero was described as ‘tan’. What the heck does that mean? Tan?

So I kept reading hoping that the genetic ambiguous hero shed his cloak. Well be careful what you ask for because he did and he was Black! Half way through the book and finally someone calls him a Brother! I only continued to read the book because I was trying to figure out this guy race. I was so disappointed that I had been misled by the cover art that I decided to put the book down altogether. I’m never one to chuck the written word; I put it in a denotation box. You may see it at your local Goodwill soaked with my tears of regret.

That semi-tragic moment gave me an idea. I’m going to create a link off of my page to give you all my opinion of books and short stories and that I’ve read. Mind you this is only my opinion, you can judge for yourself. I hope to have the page up in a few days so keep a look out for that.
