To the young lady at Victoria’s Secret who wanted to know what shade of nail color I was wearing…its OPI, Bogota Blackberry. It’s one of my favorite shades. The other info is below!
Start to Finish (base coat, top coat and strengthener) and their Rapid Dry and Chip Skip are also are good investments. It’s worth it and it’ll hold your color in place for a couple of weeks.
**UPDATE**
I received a few emails asking for other color suggestions. Here they are:
You Rock-Apulco Red!: Great redish orangish color for spring and summer.

Up Front & Personal: My second go-to color. It's a light sandy shimmery color

Argenteeny Pinkini: Love this color! It's a pinkish shimmery almost sheer when you apply two coats (the third will give you more color)

I hope this helps. Enjoy!

Oh i love OPI nail wear, it's quick to dry and does not chip for days! as opposed to Revlon. I wear black and rose every other month! lol

In the summer I wear Russian Navy... Its dark enough that at night you can wear it with anything and in daytime it gives off glints of blue and purple hues... LOVE OPI Ms. Tracy

I'll have to checkout Russian Navy. I haven't seen it before. Great, now I have to hunt it down!!
Heidi, I can't wear anything else. Once you start wearing OPI its hard to wear anything else. The other stuff chips and is only a couple of dollars cheaper...if that. I say go for the good stuff with lots of rich colors. |

Tracy, my friends make fun of me whenever we go get pedicures together because I carry a bag of OPI nail polish with me. Any time I see a color I like I purchase it. Over the years, I've collected an extensive collection. I use nail polish to express my moods. Therefore, I take color selection very seriously.

Ok, we need to introduce your friends to the world of OPI, lol. I do the same thing. I worked for Trade Secrets while in college and the OPI distributor would give the employees all the latest colors. Girl, one of my favorites is still How to Jamaica Million.
It's downright shameful how many bottles I have. |

Those are some beautiful colors. I think I'll try to find the light ones for spring and summer. When they hit, I usually go light or some really super funky colors not seen in nature, I love those and neons, it's 80's but it looks good. I have arcrylic over my nails but they are long, honey loves them, he has this thing about me scratching his back and head, LOL. I love designs it's ghetto but I try not to go overboard. I love getting the tips with color and then maybe having one nail painted fully with that sparkly polish over it. The odder the better and I think some of those would work great for that.

If you like neon then you're in luck. OPI has a neon line. Now, here's a secret: If you can't find a color from OPI (discontinued or the store is out) look for the Nicole line or Trade Secret....they're made by OPI. All of them have neon and funky colors. OPI even has a matte line.
Normally when OPI continues a color, it goes directly to the Trade Secret line. Check the malls. You can find the Nicole just about everywhere including Walmart, Target and Sally's. Depending of your budget and quality here's how it breaks down: OPI is the best...Look to pay 7-10 bucks Trade Secret is second...6-8 bucks. Last around two days shy of the OPI name brand and Trade Secret ALWAYS has sales. Nicole is third...5-7 bucks...a few days is all you'll get at best. The polish is thinner and requires more costs. And the colors aren't as true as they appear in the bottle. |

I'll look for them. I go to the shop about every two weeks to get my nails done but I like to bring my own polish. I just do, I don't know why I just do. I get better colors and polish that way. I've always loved OPI.
