What do you like about the song "Speechless" because I like everything. How does Greg like it? When you still really like being with someone and top that off by being in love with them too, you're just speechless. And there's nothing like that feeling, that feeling when you here his footsteps and you're mind and body are just in tune with his footsteps. It's nothing like loving a man and showing him your love through your most vulnerable appetite (sex or any name you like to call it). I want this one day. Beyonce sung the hell out of this song. You can tell what she's feeling, telling him she's been waiting for him all day and then later say she's going out of her mind. All you can say is "damn"!!!!!!!!!!!!
It just makes you want to unwrap the gift and keep on giving it more and more.

I love Anita Baker! Her last album was good but it didn't get the air play it deserved. Sad, truly sad. I agree, we should uplift one another but someone (her mother) needed to check Ms. Beyonce for putting herself in the category with the greats.

All I'm saying about Beyonce is that she is a young black woman and it's going to take more than a few upbeat songs and shaking some butt to put her in the same category as an Anita Baker. However, in the same token, she is a young black woman and she has a work ethic out of the world, respectful, and family oriented as I said before. She deserves a little of our respect. We cannot continue to put down each other. That's one of my pet peeves. I have a low tolerance level for that kind of stuff. It is like we like when these black girls get out of hand and are disrespectful to themselves, but when we have one that is hard-working, successful, and fortunately have some goals and think outside the box (the hood), we want to pull them down. That is my problem. Allow this young black woman to possibly grow into somebody like an Anita Baker who can be in that same league. I get tired of the media and us (black women) putting each other down and then criticizing others for doing it. They look at us and see us doing it, and they will continue doing it. We have bought into this idea of criticizing and pulling each other down. It's not acceptable with me. There are so many of our ancestors and civil rights leaders who have fought for us to even have respect in society. So let's try to respect one another. One reason I like you as an author is because you are a black woman who has a work ethic out of this world and you are successful and family oriented. I just want you to see where I'm coming from because criticizing each other is not productive or beneficial to us as black woman at all. I'm one of those type of people that believes even enemies can be respectful and civil towards one another. You're raising a biracial child so I know you know on some level that this is important, because to some, especially in the United States, they are not going to even count her WASP side. They are just going to count her black side and put her in that group. I'm 22 years old and I try to be a good example for my little cousins who are behind me in age. It's important.

Ebony, what everyone is trying to say is calm down. We get it. Trust me….we get. Stating our opinions is simply stating our opinions. Like assholes, everyone has one. We may not agree, right?

There’s a difference in being nasty and offering criticism. If Stephanie Morris came to me and said, “Tracy, I didn’t like the way that story ended and here’s why…” I wouldn’t take that as being nasty. She’s offering criticism, her opinion, and most likely her help.

We’re strong, direct, opinionated, humorous, intelligent women who can take as well as give. We take our licks and slap one another back to our senses when needed. We do this because we care about one another. If we didn’t, we’d allow each other to go unchecked. Lifting each other up, supporting our sisterhood doesn’t mean turning a blind eye; its check and balances: Let me check you before you get out off balance. We may not always use the best wording but you have to look at the person's intent...and who better to get in my butt than a girlfriend who knows my heart.

Yes, I want to punch plenty of people in the face, especially when I see one of us embarrassing us, but I don’t do it because it’s unladylike. I’m controlled, I rarely raise my voice, and I never allow others actions constitute my reactions but please don’t make the mistake of taking me for a pushover. I’m not. I’ll put you in your place faster than anyone, but not publicly.

Now, back to this Beyonce nonsense. If you look back at the responses you’ll see exactly why we dislike her. We didn’t make blanket statements…we were very precise in our assessment of her character. To be honest, if someone would’ve trained these girls properly, they wouldn’t carry themselves so poorly. That’s not a criticism, that’s an observation.

Exhausted from reining in his passion, Greg decided to retire early. Solemnly, he poured some tea for the homies lost during the Croquet Wars of 2009. As usual, his wife Tracy was on the bed writing and Facebooking. Crawling into bed, he carefully rolled onto his side facing away from his tempting wife. The click clack of her fingers on her laptop lulled him into a light sleep. As his mind and body relaxed, he forgot the (insane) pact the two of them made to abstain from Mad Lovin' for a week. Instinctively, his body sought her out. He reached a finger out to trace small circles on her arm with a feather-light touch. She responded by dropping her head to her chest and practically purring. Pleased with the response, his finger traveled down her arm and to her thigh. Putting the laptop on the night stand, Tracy turned to face Greg. In a sultry voice, she said, "Forget our (insane) pact, it's time for some Mad Lovin'."

Knowing it was my favorite dessert, he brought me a bowl of warmed peach cobbler and peach ice cream. I was intently watching a movie on the SyFy channel so I gave him a quick smile of appreciation. I barely noticed that he lay on the bed next to me. Engrossed in the movie, I lifted a spoon full of cobbler and ice cream to my lips. A drop of ice cream escaped onto the top of my right breast. Like a panther, he moved quickly to my right side and licked the ice cream off my breast before it stole away down my cleavage. The warmth of his tongue and the feel of his breath right above my nipple caused an involuntary shiver. Wanting more, I made a point to drop more ice cream onto my breasts. He caught each drop before they escaped my chest. Eventually, the sweetness of the peach cobbler and peach ice cream was no longer enough. I wanted more. I needed more. Putting the bowl on the night stand, I straddled his lap with a slow grind. Dipping my finger in the bowl, I scooped up some peach filling and brought my finger to his lips. The moment he wrapped his lips around my finger and began to gently suck it I knew it was time for some Mad Lovin'.

No Greg! Don't do it! Go meditate! Think about the gnome not the cobbler!
