Olga and I joke about not being able to write very short stories but in truth I'm pretty sure I can't.
My problem lies in my total lack of knowing when to shut the hell up. I have and idea for a short read and then it blossoms into a regular story. Seriously, since creating the “Short Read” category, I have written a grand total of three brand new full stories not including the two I’ve posted.
I sent one of these three stories to my publisher for general feedback and now he wants to develop it into a novel.
Anyway, be on the lookout for “The Awakening” later today. It’s off being edited. It started out as a short read but has grew into a short story.
