Just wanted to let the readers who submitted stories for the “Short Reads” category know that I have received your entries. Emily and I are going through them. I must say some of you write very well.

However some of it doesn’t fit the site. See the “About Us” page:
“In an effort to supply our readers with a tasteful experience, we steer clear of certain topics such as rape, drugs, minors and man-hating.”

We like hot stories that go a little deeper than “She sucked me off and then I kicked her out of my car”. That’s better suited for other sites. Not here. Yes, we’re F*ing dirty but at the end of the day we’re still writers…most of us published.

I’ll help an aspiring writer in a heartbeat but I won’t post just anything especially when it contains any of the above. There has to be some semblance of a story. Throw me a bone!

Google and I have a great relationship; I don’t suck and they don’t label me porn as they have other erotic lit sites. I don’t want to be labeled porn because I don’t write pornographic literature (dirty, not porno). Nor do I want the readers who visit the site to read the stories for the stories, not just wank, thinking that we’re moving away from the ‘story’ aspect.

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with wanking it! Hell, I give you material to wank to but I won’t post anything I’m not comfortable with…ie the topics mentioned above or anything that I feel is so over the top that it doesn’t jive with us.

Everyone has read the stories here…so everyone knows how far we go. There’s pushing the envelope and then there are areas that aren’t pleasant. Not that there’s anything wrong with unpleasant—you know how I feel about personal liberties. We just don’t do unpleasant here. I can refer you to unpleasentville.
