Yep, we’re still in Iowa on Greg’s family farm which stretches some 2,200 acres. It’s not so bad, really. It’s not like our house in Greenwich is located in the city.
Eva returned to CT the other day and should be arriving in Switzerland next week to begin her summer session. BC has taken a shying to one particular cow and is hell bent on bringing him home with us. No! I’ll string Greg up a tree if that cow even looks like it wants to step one hoof on the plane!
Speaking of Greg, I’m not sure if I mentioned this in the past but Greg received his pilots’ license at the age of fifteen because his grandfather needed someone to dust the crops but didn’t trust their hired hands. The reason I bring this up is because Greg has gotten his bloomers in a bunch and now wants to take to the skies. No way! I’ve seen him fly—he knows what he’s doing but I’ll be damned if I’m getting on-board. John John Kennedy ring a bell?! Hell, I barely fly with Shawn and he’s a career commercial pilot.
Momma Ames is doing much better. She’s upward mobile but still not 100% herself. BC is working on that. He’s also working on getting himself lost in the corn fields every evening. *smh*
Me? I’m good. I’ve working on two manuscripts and I’ve been invited to do a collaboration novel with another writer. I can’t go into detail about the novel until everything is hammered out. I was approached by a publisher who wants to purchase “Answering His Call”. I’ve decided not to sell. The story will continue on the site.
I’m glad you all enjoyed “Hers For The Taking”. AJ goated me into writing it but I’m glad I did. I was a little worried that you guys would think I’d gone off the deep end. Ha! Now I want to see what AJ comes up with. I challenged him to write a story from the lesbian perspective….and combine romance and sensuality…no Kink (which is his fallback). Oh this should be good!
I'd like to thank all of the artist who've submitted their photos for use. You guys are truly talented and I look forward to displaying your work. Seriously, great stuff! I'm extremely gratefully to have you all on hand. Keep it coming. Cheers!
That’s all for now. More to come later….

I'm glad momma Ames is doing better, maybe she just needed a dose of her extended family madness.
BC: God bless him! unfortunately I can see you guys dragging that cow to the airport check out counter or better yet Greg flying it home (lol). doesn't BC know corn fields are one of the top places for strange things to happen in horror movies? Wishing Eva a safe flight back to Switzerland Now when Mr. AJ completes his story will we be the guinea pigs to have a taste of it? Enjoy your vacation and don't work too hard |

I tried scarying BC out of the corn fields...it didn't work because Greg had planted seeds of monster doubt in his head. According to BC there's not such thing as monsters, period.
Greg better not attempt bringing that cow back to Greenwich! We have horses and that's good enough. Eva 'The Diva' Ames is pumped about returning to Switzerland but misses her dad already...she's called a hundred times. I'll ask AJ to share his story on the site. That's the one thing I love about have a circle of writer friends; we come up with the craziest BS...sadly, we inflict our madness on our readers, lol! |

Your blogs about your family life are equally as enjoyable as your stories. Love BC, and surprised that he didn't fall for the scary monsters, you can usually get most kids his age with the scary monsters. I'm happy Momma Ames is doing much better. Looking forward to see who you will be co-writing with.

Wanda, not withstanding my shoe collection, folks would be surprised just how simple my family life is. You're more likely to see me at a farmers' market or thrift shop than on 5th Ave. I like it that way.
BC is a charmer and smart as a whip. Greg told him early on there were no monsters. Now he's afraid of nothing except large swarms of fire flies and the odd deer. My co-writer came as bit of a surprise. I never thought he knew I was alive much less followed my work. *shrugs* Who knew... |

So glad that Momma Ames is doing better also you might as well get ready for another pet BC will have a cow if it does not leave with him on the plane. Enjoy your family time and I am with you with Greg and his flying as a matter of fact tell him when cows fly you will fly; and we know that is not going to happen;)

Hey Vicki! Lady, I'll hurt Greg if that cow get on the plane, lol. BC found a turtle in one of the ponds yesterday evening and now he wants to bring it home also. You know what? I draw the line at unicorns. :)
