I woke up this morning feeling like warmed over crap because I took yesterday off and didn’t write so much as a single word. Hell, I needed the break. I’ve been writing and handling the business side non-stop for two weeks.
I wish you folks could experience the non-glam, landmine filled world of publishing. You’d run for cover, lol! Good news, I accepted an offer to write a few articles (3) for a British magazine. Yay!...I think. Greg’s hashing out the details, so I’ll keep you up to date.
I have misgivings about returning to news writing. My apprehend steams from my much loved independence. When writing for others, you’re keenly aware of the minutiae of writing which causes you to walk on eggshells or, better still, spend infinite hours researching the grot of your topic.
So why am I doing it? That’s a very difficult question to answer because I don’t know why I accepted this offer after refusing the others. My love of the printed word would be the noble answer. But it’s nowhere near the truth. I’ll let you know when I sort it out.
Anyway, the next installment of TCNN is almost complete. It’ll be up this week.
I’m catching a nap with BC and BJ before my first conference call of the day. See, I’m still working!
*UPDATE*
TCNN is off being edited. Once it's returned, I'll post it! YAY!
A little something Eva sent. Love her!

Do your thing! Do it well! Whatever it is that you write will always have your stamp on it.
