We Have 'Movement'!

Tracy Ames
My name is Tracy Ames. I’m an author of interracial erotic fiction. My stories are a sensual feast for your senses; mind, body and soul.
I began writing short stories for monthly newsletters and, believe it or not, my friends. After much encouragement, I’m ready to offer you a taste of what only a few have previously savored.
A native of the San Francisco Bay area, I currently split time between Greenwich CT & New York City with my husband, young daughter and a host of pets.

Do any of you know if pitted prunes are more likely to cause “movements” than those with pits? This may seem like a funny (if not gross) question but here’s the reason I ask.
BC can eat breakfast prunes (prunes with pits) by the handful and won’t suffer any of the side effects. Yesterday, I picked up the wrong prunes from the market and today all of the adults in the house have been under the weather, leaving BC to fend for himself.
For lunch he ate “the big raisins with the hard thing in the middle”, and yogurt. And throughout the day, he continued to snack on the big raisins because “The hard thing is gone” Mind you, this is coming from a three year old.
No one stopped him because he’s never had a reaction to prunes….until now. He's been up and down all evening with “movements” and now his little bottom is beet red. I called my Grandma and Momma Ames to ask if there’s a different but neither of them knew for certain.
This is strange indeed. The big raisins never do this to him. Anyway, I thought I’d ask since many of you are parents. Sorry if I grossed anyone out. Just trying to get to the bottom of this.

My grandmother has ALWAYS used Pitted Prunes for "movements", she said the core keeps the Prune intact but as soon as you remove the seed it becomes a laxative. I have NO reason why but it worked for my kids so I never questioned her, my sister seems to believe once the seed is removed the drying process removes the nutrients.

Ah, gotcha. I'll trust the school methods above anything they have going today. Those Ladies were on to something. BC is still "moving". Hopefully it'll be over soon. Thank you so much.

I have never known there to be a difference. Hmmmmm, BC's experience seems to prove there is.

Yes it does. We would've stopped him had we known. My poor red bottomed little man looks so betrayed. Luckily, he's whining about it...he's just tired. Greg went out a little while ago and bought him the breakfast prunes. He's begging to eat "The big raisins with the hard thing". He doesn't like dates but he'll tear up a can of prunes!

Ok ... the pun was probably unintended and I do feel for BC but your last sentence was "Just trying to get to the BOTTOM of this." Hilarious!

I totally didn't mean anything by it. LOL! I'm such a clown.
