Come One Come All! (Pun intended)

Olga Coleman-Williams
My hobby is that I work as an attorney in the northeast. My true profession, and the hardest work in the world, is that I am a mommy to four little boys. So the testosterone in my home can get to be a little much, especially when you throw my husband into the mix. So writing and reading about delicious romance and a lot of lovin' is my refuge. Hope you enjoy. I appreciate the feedback.
Okay Ladies and Gentlemen, have I mentioned lately how amazing Mrs. Tracy Ames is? Well, in case you haven’t noticed she’s pretty cool and every now and again she lets me run wild on her site she might just be trying to get me out of her hair … *puzzled frown* … but I digress.
So, for the past few months I’ve been calling Tracy every once and a while raving about a new author I’ve read on another site. I’m really trying to persuade her to think about opening her own publishing company … *big hopeful smile* … but again, I digress.
Like a frazzled master who is desperate for a moment’s peace, Tracy threw a stick way, yonder, into the woods, hoping it will take her puppy a hot minute to figure out where the damn thing landed. Did I just compare myself to a canine? She put me on a mission. She even gave me a sexy new title “Literary Scout.”
What does it mean?
How the hell would I know?
My mission (and I choose to take it) is to look far and wide for great stories on other author submission sites and bring them to IRE.net, well, at least let IRE.net readers access the links to the stories. I’m not trying to get sued. So, I’m all over this, and I hope to give you my best picks at least once a month.
If you have stories that you want to give a shout out to, please share the link with me at o_coleman@hotmail.com. Please put “IRE.Net Sexy- Bodacious-Literary Scout”, (okay, maybe just IRE.net) in the subject line. If the story is selected, I’ll give a few of my thoughts about it and we’ll all have at it.
I really don’t want to say that this is a review blog. I just want to share all the great writing that is out there. So, I hope this is fun. Argue with me if you think I’m dead wrong. I have a thick skin. I’m a lawyer. You don’t have any idea how many lawyer jokes are out there and I feel like I’ve heard every last one.

Okay here are my first picks:
These authors are so good that I’m going to forward the sites where I first read their stories and I’ll give you the links to their blogs. If you have never read a story from Soular you have really missed a treat. Damn Dress, Seven Days, Gabriella (unfinished) will make you lose a lot of sleep. Check it out.
Her Blog can be found at: http://soular-fiction.tumblr.com/
Then we have Pepperpace. She writes stories that take traditionally unromantic heroes and heroines and turn the traditional romance/erotic story on its head. She is pretty prolific as a writer but I would start with Juicy, then go to Stranded!, peruse They Say Love is Blind, and settle down with Urban Vampire. Please do not sleep on Wheels of Steel (unfinished). I did say she was prolific. She has many more submissions.
Check out her blog at: http://pepperpacefeedback.blogspot.com/?zx=82eddb8bcd0a1f88
I wish you many a sleepless night.

Thanks Crystal and Wanda. I found Soular before I found IRE.net. In fact, it was Soular's story that made me google "interracial erotica" and that is how I found IRE. Net. Soular and Pepperpace absolutely need to get published. I am shocked that they don't have a deal-every word they write is pitch perfect.
Now Lydia, I have a bone to pick with you. I can't believe you got Tracy to change my title. TRAAAAACCCCCYYYYYY! Lydia is picking on me!*pout* |

First of all I love Soular I am even on her mailing list. for those of you who haven't read her work you need to Damn Dress and Gabriella is the shiznit but Seven Days that right there is my story I read that story atleast once a month.
Olga, like you I found Soular before I found IRE. Olga I am going to be sending some things your way from The Valent Chamber (you may have even already been on the site) there are some very talented people on that site. And some of them are young and have the potential to be great. One more thing so not about this post. Where is my update...lol |

Sherece, I love ValentChamber. This is great! We can commiserate on some of those great authors and stories. About lions...truthfully I am struggling. I have about 12 pages of the new installment but it's rubbish. I'm trying clean up the mess. Wish me luck!

Great suggestions Olga. I love Soular and am checking for updates on Gabriella about the same rate I check for updates on Lion's Pride(wink, wink,). I also have Pepperpace's site bookmarked as well. I think Standed was the first story I read of hers and love WOS. I really started reading the IR genre from another site I found these ladies on as well as others and made my way over here. The writing of all you ladies is great which is why I am reading a lot of the IR fiction...because I love my Hershey Kiss of a husband and wouldn't take nothing for him. LOL

Pam, Starting out with these ladies is really putting the bar up pretty high, but that is how we do on IRE.net. Tracy makes sure that the quality on this site is maintained and I only want to shout out stories and authors on other sites that maintain that high quality. I think it says something, that these ladies have such a large following, they are the truth and they should be published. In one of Soular's blog posts she said that she wouldn't publish "Damn Dress" because it already free online. She is so good that I would definite buy the book. Getting me to buy the book is the highest praise I can offer.
I swear I am working on Lion's. *she added grumbling*(LOL!) |

When Olga came to me with the idea, I jumped on it. I love drawing attention to talented writers of any genre...however, it's difficult for 'us' out there and if I can help in any way I will. You Ladies keep the suggestions coming and Olga will take care of you.
Olga, Lydia called me late and asked me to change the title. I was compromised by sleep! |

Wow, this is an amazing site! And so glad to hear some positive comments about my writing...I was beaming from ear to ear!! Thank you all so much for reading...I can honestly tell you (as you other authors know as well), a compliment on your writing is the highest & best form of payment a writer can receive! Just wow... Thanks for the shout out Olga!

Anytime my dear! You are amazing. Of course I want to beg for the new installment of Gabriella, but I've had some readers waiting a few months for my next install, so my bugging you might be a tad hypocritical...Alas, you set the bar high and I appreciate that. I hope you consider joining the IRE.net family, now that Sweetest Tabooo won't allow authors to put up their new installments in the Spam category (That wasn't even a little bit subtle huh?).
