My Dirty Little Mind

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Charisma Knight. I’m a writer and lover of the interracial genre. I love erotica and erotic romance. Also, I’m known for throwing curveballs in the erotic romance genre.
In addition to writing erotica/erotic romance I just have to go against the grain and throw in some doom and gloom, suspense, and the possibility of the hero slashing the heroine’s throat, or vice versa. Hmm, perhaps I should write horror too?
Don’t get me wrong. I love romance, I LOVE the HEA thingy. Unfortunately sometimes in the real world there isn’t always a HEA. So, this is where some readers may look at me and go WTF is she doing?? LOL Perfect example of a WTF moment with me is Menage Unchained from Beautiful Trouble Publishing. Honestly I started out writing with the intent on a ménage throughout the entire story, but Siobhan and Jerry Frigaard had other ideas brewing in their heads.
Throughout the story I was quite fond of Jerry and well—he kind of left poor Steve in the dust. But alas, with the few rounds of editing, changes were made and we settled for the story going in a different direction. It is an awesome read, and I do hope you will enjoy. There is a HEA in Menage Unchained. Oh, btw, I’m working on a second and final installment of this story.
Now, here is another little quirk with me. Not sugar coating anything, but I love sex. I have my moments of wanting nothing but romance, tenderness, steamy, and passionate lovemaking. However, I have my moments when I want to be ridden hard and fast, lightly choked, and slapped hard on the ass. Yes, I love the hair-pulling, etc, etc. I love for my man to rough-fuck me, call me names, etc. Oh, and I love being the submissive, but you know what? I also love dominating! Yeah, I have some WIPs where the heroine does the majority of the dominating. I enjoy the hell out of tying my man up, dripping hot wax on his body and making him beg and squirm for his release. So I will ask you, what is wrong with this? On the flip side of this coin there are times when I don’t even want to be touched, so I am after all human. I like what I like, and that’s it.
There are different strokes for different folks. Some of my writing should have had warning labels on it for the faint-hearted. So my solution to this is to write all over the map. My scenes are sensual, erotic, passionate, and down and out dirty to the max, depending upon my current mood.
Thanks all for listening to my rambling. I just totally threw this together, but some how I know Tracy will enjoy this even if you don’t! Ha ha!!!

You know me too well. I love Kink! Yeah, normal people don't shout that in highly populated areas, but I do. :) Let your 'scene' reflect your mood. It's the only way to write. Can you imagine reading while depressed? Yikes!
You're such a switch. Honestly, I believe switches have an easier time penning erotica because they're able to tap into and convey thoroughly how it feels to be both Dom and submissive. That’s not to say a Dom couldn’t (flashes Domina ID card) it’s simply easier for a switch and readers find their work more palatable. There’s an article written on this topic. I’ll have to dig it up. BTW, I love how you say "lightly choked". Love your work and yes, you throw curve balls but that's why I love your work. Predictable is boring. Boy meets girl…blah blah blah…hot lovin’...yadda yadda yadda...swaggers off into the sunset. How bloody boring! |
