I absolutely love writing interracial/Multicultural Erotica Fiction because of the broad spectrum of people I have to choose from. Erotica as a whole is all encompassing running from BBW to wafer thin images. It’s all about what turns you on.
I found that in most romance fiction I’ve read the heroes were tall and fit (Not complaining there because who wants a butter ball humping them?) while the heroines tended to be thin, petite to medium height, long hair with light complexions. This isn’t realistic!
Looking across the cultures we see woman from light to dark, fat to thin, tall to short, long and short hair, kinky and straight. One thing is true….men love every single one of them. The problem is most writers don’t know how to write for these other types of women. How do you write a love scene for a BBW? Easy, you write as you would for any one else.
Just because I’m tall doesn’t hinder my ability to write a story where heroine is short, that’s a cope out. If writers don’t start pushing the editorial limits (which I have seen much growth in the last couple of years) we will be stuck with twiggy for eternity. The more comfortable women become with their bodies the more body types will start appearing in fiction.
