Hello guys,
We are three of new authors (two of them published) that will be joining the site within the next couple of months. So in an effort to supply you with the material you enjoy, I’m asking your opinion. What storylines and/or categories would you like to see?
Please keep in mind that we steer clear of certain topics, see here. Our readers are very vocal so speak up and be heard. By the way, thanks to all of you have have submitted cover ideas for "Make Her Want It".
Cheers,
Tracy

Hi Tracy. I'm happy to hear there are going to be even more authors on this site. I enjoy reading books with a black woman and white man as the main characters. I also like the man to be somewhat of an alpha that's not going to take any crap from his woman or anyone else. I like for the heroine to be strong too. But, I don't like it when the woman treats her man badly because of whatever situation she is going through. I mainly just want a story with mature adults that are confident in their own skin and enjoy being with each other. A few steamy love scenes never hurt anything either. I hope this helps your new authors. I will be waiting to read what they have for us.

Thanks for your input, Julia. I absolutely agree with you, I can't stand a man-hater or a weak man. Yuck!
The new authors will offer what they do best within their genres. I hope you enjoy their work. |

I'll tell you what I find yuckier than yuck as that list is smaller than my likes when it comes to I/R romances: Shapeshifter. I mean, gimme a freaking break!!!. How can one even fathom having sex with an animal. I'm not that open minded and frankly think those who write such dribble should be locked up. Strong opinion, I know, but it seems to me the real "story" is that the shapeshifter has a ginormous schlong, omg!!!, which is scary enough along with him being half animal.
Apart from this, I would love to read more, I think you call them, May-Dec pairings. They do exist, you know. Hmmm, wonder why shapeshifter (half animal with big schlong) is more popular.....? |

Lady, you are one of the most opinionated people I’ve had the pleasure of stumbling upon. Keep it up because silence is never golden…;-) As for the May-Dec based stories: There will be more to come.
I don’t understand the shape-shifter, paranormal bit either but I guess some people fancy the tales because the market is huge. Here comes the Molly Mc’Opinionated side of me. The reason I steer away from the IR paranormal in my writing is quite simply: A. I’m not familiar enough with the genre to speak to the subject matter. Personally don’t care enough to learn…which means any stories produced would be very unpleasant. B. It seemed to suggest that the only way a White man would be interested in a Black woman is if he were dead (a ghost) or a centaur. WTF! Dating a centaur must be hell on a gal’s sheets. And the ghost bit just comes off a little codependent. Clearly the guy hasn’t accepted the fact that he is dead and he needs to go towards the light. Besides, the popping up unexpectedly would drive me up a Prozac wall. |

I like this idea. I would actually be willing to submit a few paranormal shorts with vamps and lycans. So if it become a category...I'm all over it.

Hey Tracy,
How about a older man/younger woman and older woman/younger man category? |
