1. Which traits from your parents do you see in yourself?
From my mom, her sense of responsibility and independence. I believe in taking care of business first then having fun. Sometimes not in that order but I always get my business taken care of.

From my dad, his sense of humor and his sense of southern hospitality. It has been said I have never met a stranger. I swear I'm one of the people who honks the horn and waves at everyone. Still it's not necessarily as strange thing in Texas. I also received my stubborn streak from him. He was a Capricorn. Need I say more?

The most touching thing one of my dad's friends said to me at his funeral, earlier this year was that he wished he could say he was going to miss my dad, but he couldn't because I'm so much like him that seeing and being around me, was like being in the presence of my father. Needless to say I held together at the funeral until that part.

2. Which traits from you/your partner do you see in your children (if you don't have kids, which would you like to see)?
Well my son, Rocky (yes he is a dog) has my nonchalant attitude and sense of loyalty. Once you win him over you have a friend for life unless you really screw up then he will growl and bite at your ankles. Tell me you can't see the resemblance.

3. How did you get the birds-and-bees talk?
Funny story actually. My sister is ten years older than I. She had her first child when she was 21. God Bless my niece ( I really do love her) but she was a awful baby. Had colic and cried no matter what you did. One day I had enough of the insistent crying and walked up to my mom and asked her what my sister had done to get a baby. Needless to say my mother was mortified and sent me to my dad who was even more mortified. It took me years to get a straight answer (from my sister). Needless to say I learn from her "mistake" since I am still childless LOL!

4. What was your favorite childhood book?
Oh it was a classic. "Green Eggs and Ham". It's something about rhyming that really gets me. I have always said if I wasn't an author I would be a rapper...

5. What is your favorite piece of erotic literature?
Four Degrees of Heat by ReShonda Tate Billingsley, Crystal Lacey Winslow, Brenda L. Thomas and Rochelle Alers

Bonus: What is the one thing you wish you could go back and tell yourself as a child?
That is is okay to be a little crazy. It brightens up the day. Well at least mines...

Double Bonus: If your life were a book or movie, what would the title be?
"Southern Hospitality: Nuttiness At It's Best" (You figure it out)
