Good evening folks!
I was going over the site figures with Daniel and Grip the other day. IRE.net is pulling in crazy numbers, thanks everyone for your support! Per Google, we’ve remained the number one IR fiction site for nine months straight. We freakin’ slaughtered this other site which name starts with an “L” but we won’t put them on blast for their mediocrity.
I’d like to very a BIG round of applause to great group of folks. Thanks for making the site what it is. And to the regular commenters, you guys make our jobs enjoyable. And to the offline commenters, I promise Heidi doesn’t bite so feel free to jump into our conversations without fear. Love you Heidi Bear..:)
Anyway, we’re going over the numbers and we’re off the charts (last month we pulled in over a million visitors). I’d like to know how you guys found out about the IRE.net. Was it word of mouth, Facebook, MySpace, someone’s blog, random Google search…what was it!
From the backend, I see links to several of your blogs and author sites however I’d like to hear it from the reader themselves.
Cheers!

It's one thing to read IR books, i wanted a blog where i can relate to the authors and belong to a community. I did a google search and IRE.net was the first of ten. It's been home away from home. |

Well, everyone here knows my story. I found IRE.net through a google search. When I got into the site I read some really great stories, but there weren't any comments. I wasn't a blog site person before this, so I wasn't
sure how it worked. It occured to me though that if there was a button for comment, then by gosh maybe I should comment! That is how my maddness started. |

Lady, I still remember when Grip came to me and said, "Tracy, someone name Olga just commented on the site. Do you know her? She sounds German."
LOL, we were so used to getting emails/comments offline, that the first time someome commented on the we all flipped! |

I think I got here from The Chamber or TST or by buying a book. It all runs together now. Although I really became interested in the IR stories probably through that site that starts with an L. I was drawn to the IR stories that featured strong AfAm women and were written by women. One day I looked at an authors bio and she said she was posting something over at The Chamber and I have been hooked on the sites featuring black women.

I did a Google search after reading my first interracial novel by Roslyn Holcomb. Came across your site, and no, nothing has come close. Yes, you and all the authors on this site should be proud! You rock and I have refered others to the site.

It's funny that you mentioned Roslyn. I'll be doing an interview with her about her current book. She contacted me few months ago...lovely lovely woman.
Thank you so much. We love what we do and having a good relationship with the readers makes our jobs even more enjoyable. Spread the word and we'll be sure to keep up the good work. |
