Hello Everyone,
Since outing The Georgian Inn from “Taking Chances” as a real location, a few of you have emailed me for references for other Bed & Breakfasts/Inns. We’re huge B&B fans and try to support local businesses when we travel by lodging in them. Some are awesome and some didn’t fit our taste.
The ones that I’ll refer are the standout best or the ones we’ve visited multiple times and the rooms we demand on.
The Pine Crest Inn, Maine: Stoningham
You’ll love Matt! He’s a wonderful host and cook. Our suite is always perfect. Seriously, we’ve never had a bad experience.
Lefevre House, New York: Brown Sugar and Green with Envy
Tres sexy! This is an art lovers dream. We love this place, we can’t say enough.
Mango Moon Intimate Boutique Hotel, Costa Rica: The Gecko Suite
This is the perfect location for honeymoons, anniversaries and reunions. Words can describe how beautiful this place is. Breathtaking!
The Golden Haug, Iowa: Where Time Stops
Love is place! The innkeepers were so accommodating. I stepped through the door with a full entourage and they bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable.
I routinely travel with a large group of people so we also stay in privately owed cabins. Because we’re extremely close to one another and it’s more economical, we rent cabins and have a blast. Ok, a little too much fun last time…we ended up having to stay an extra night to recover.
Caney Creek Cabins, Tennessee: The Shannon
Great for family trips and reunions. The cabin is always fully stocked and clean. The owners are awesome and the landscape is fab!
Privately Owned Cabin, Tennessee: Greenbrier Grace I
Holy Cow, this is our spot! It has everything you want and is posh as hell. Our first stay was outstanding and the views are crazy! Our last trip was a reunion of old Air Force buddies and their kids. The kids had a blast and were never bored. Perfect place for families. We return often.
