"His Maitresse-en-titre" my first published historical is now available. It was originally meant for The Hellfire Club but I said sod it! It's Sunday, let's piss some people off. :)
The story itself isn't Dirty McDirty, rather the subject matter might be difficult for some to handle. Either way it's my damn site and if you have a problem the little 'x' in the upper right-head corner will sort you out.
I'm just sayin'....I hope you all enjoy the tale. :)

That's very petulant of you, Tracy. I'm not pissed, just very turned off by such stories. The subject matter, though historical, IS NOT EROTICA. I don't get turned on by reading re-enactments of women being subjected to sexual slavery. It grosses me out. Saying that, it is your website to do whatever you want to do and we have the right to not read or.....My only gripe is what's being passed as erotica nowadays. Authors have gone too far. We've got overly hung human/animals as heroes/heroines, bloody trees(I read some synopsis on another site!), gargoyles etc. I challenge all you authors to finally catch my interest with some real erotica and hold it!.

You are more than welcome to your opinion. That said, I’d like to clear up a few points.
It wasn’t uncommon for the illegitimate children of wealthy families to be given as part of their legitimate children’s marriage portions. And in many countries this is still practiced. So like it or not, it is what it is and not talking about it or writing about it isn’t going to change this custom. As I said, everyone is free to have their opinions of what constitutes erotica. In fact, the true definition of erotica is pure sex: if you can remove the sex and still have a readable story, then it’s NOT erotica. I doubt anyone reading the work of the authors on my site would very much enjoy a tale that lost its flavor and dimension the moment the hero and heroine left the bedroom. Pure erotica is unpalatable to most readers. This is why more people are shift towards erotic fiction and erotic romance. It’s a personal choice. As I’ve said before, we’re complex creatures with strange and indescribable, unintelligible and arbitrary taste. One persons taste doesn’t dictate the definition of an entire genre. This is why I mentioned the little ‘x’. So you’re welcome to your opinion. I find no fault with it |
